What certifications are actually useful for finance jobs?
I was looking at various online certificates I could do. For examples imperial executive education - M&A (£1,500). Or other courses from Harvard, Stanford, MIT on edX. My price range is up to £2,000.
Are these courses actually useful?
Of course I am aware that practical experience is more important.
edit: I am not looking at CFA.
I think that depends on your definition of ‘useful’.
I did one of these programs in Jan - Feb and am doing another one Apr - Jun.
what kind?
The first program I did this year was Lean Six Sigma through Villanova University. The next program I am doing is M&A through Columbia Business School.
My friend is on the faculty of this program:
Master of Applied Positive Psychology

She wanted me to sign up, but I preferred other focuses than straight up positivity, but may consider it in the future as I like therapy/psychiatry in general.
