What is wrong with the US

It is a Saturday night. I had a very busy active day so I decided to stay home, watch some TV and relax. After surfing the cable I came to realize that there is nothing worth watching, so I end up at the E! channel and lucky me there was this teen choice award, lucky me. It is a stupid show, so I dont pay attention to it while i use my notebook and do my thing hoping that there might come some nice live music. Suddenly appears this Justin Bieber for-gods-sake-cut-your-hair guy.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

How come someone like that become so famous as a SINGER. I mean, I understand how some midwest white trash teen girls might find him cute or adorable, but for god's sake, he is supposed to be a singer, and i know that there are a lot of crappy singers out there, but this guy is not even making an effort. How is it that in other countries people aren't so empty and stupid... The other day I was listening to a radio sation, Rock FM in the UK and they were giving out presents and they were telling the winners not to shout as a normal person, but as an american (if you dont know what i mean watch any Oprah show. "Every person will win a 2 dollar plastic necklace" wouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" (in a real high pitch for 2 minutes). There are a lot of intellectual people in the States, great universities, cutting-edge research, but still they make up for a little fraction. If you go to the Middle East, a kid in the street can discuss politics with you, in Asia they are more worried about achieving something than figuring out "who they are" and do this stupid soul search. How is the United States of America going to compete with other countries if every single day more americans are becoming more and more stupid while everyone else in Asia and Europe smarter and smarter... and to make things worse, the gov is making it harder for foreigners to work in the States... as if there are any brains left in the States to innovate.

God... sorry if it might sound offensive or something but I bet there are a lot of you who think the same....

ps sorry for the grammar but i am really mad and had to spell it out really quickly... all i wanted was a nice saturday night.

You're apart of the problem. Your there's-nothing-good-on channel was E!, and not ESPN.

Agreed. If you have balls you watch espn. If you have a vag you watch E.

hahah man... there was baseball on ESPN, the most boring sport ever, and i was surfing the web so the purpose of watching the E! was for the background music
