I am a completely different person around my family (who always treated me as less than my siblings) than I am with my friends. My immediate family doesn't even know any of my friends but 1. My wedding will be interesting seeing the two sides meet.

If I have to pick one song, Algo Me Gusta De Ti will be played at an obscene volume.

I love reggaeton so maybe one of the popular songs at the time when the wedding happens. Lately I've been blasting Don't You Worry (Farruko remix). I love discovering songs that just slap so hard. If I got married tomorrow, this would 100% have to be played.

Also probably have to play some El Alfa. Mera Woo or Pakata are my favorites but my parents would not be happy lol

The ceremony itself is a Holy Mass, so, obviously, centered around that, but since I have an organ player in my family, we can go a bit wilder. 

  • The Classics - "Hier kommt die Braut", etc, for the stepping onto the altar
  • The Singalong - mainly modern church songs (Neues Geistliches Lied, think "Ein Funke aus Stein geschlagen", "Laudato Si", and of course, "Großer Gott, wir loben dich", never fails)
  • The Last Call - outro songs, we'll mix it up there, so think gospel, or boogie-woogie played on an organ
