What time do you get off work?

I'm in a "9-5" job but i never leave at 5 haha Something or the other comes up and I end up staying till 7.

We have flexible hours so people come in much later. So if were to leave at 5 I get all these stares... arharh

In this challenging and fast paced it hard to sometimes just sustain. I spend ~70% of my awake hours at work. With this theres a 'commute time', cause I can't afford to live in downtown.

I therefore wanted to create a thread to share the time you get out of work!

Brooo I'm in Seattle as well right now. I'm still a student, but I get off at 5 and have a 40 min commute from my internship.

Netflix is either the best or worst company to work for. Seems like they value free thinkers who take smart risks and don't conform. For people who fit that, they seem to stick around forever.

Do you visit your real estate properties often? I'm guessing thats why the 12am lol

About once every two weeks while under construction. Once a month once you’re confident in the on-site team during lease up.

That’s always during the day though. The late nights are for before closings or during fire drills.

My team is very flexible. You can come in early and leave early. For example you can come in at 6/7am --- which fits my lifestyle well --- and leave around 4/5pm. Otherwise when there's a live deal/project and I have something to do, usually until whenever I finish it. Could be between 7pm and 11, occasionally past 11? But a senior guy in my team clearly works a lot of past-12 hours

Persistency is Key

I try to start at 6:30A so I can leave by 5:00P and make it to classes two days a week (classes 6P-10P, but my commute cuts in half by that time). Otherwise, I start at 7:00A and leave by 6-7P, occasionally 8P and less often 9P.

2 hour commute (each way, I just got transferred. Have to move soon)

I learned quickly that 9-5 is a fable that is only true in the movies. If I'm lucky, 8-6 are the hours I work. I log in after getting home in more instances than I care to admit.

Usually somewhere between 6 and 8, but 11/12 for busy periods. Quiet period is 9-6.

20 min walk to the office so can't complain on the commute.

I don't know... Yeah. Almost definitely yes.

8:30-9:00 to 22:00 on average, I'd say, with below 15min commute.

Best was 9:00-19:00. Worst was 7:30-3:00 (AM) for about two months, but without weekend work.

Bad times sun -thurs ~3am. Slow times Sun ~8pm and mon-thurs ~12am. Friday normally get off by 10ish no matter what.

World needs corporate ditch diggers too I guess.
