What to do if you don’t get the right vibe from your analysts?
Let’s say you give your all and don’t get bad feedback on work as a summer intern, but you get the feeling your analyst just doesn’t really like you (maybe they are friendlier with other interns etc). What should you do - people please or let it be?
Unless you are doing something you can genuinely change, the reality of life is you won't get along with every single person in your group, and you should just keep doing you. Doesn't necessarily mean you can get a return. One analyst does not dictate your return offer.
I’m having this issue too at the moment. Theres an analyst that very obviously does not like me and is rude to me even though I’ve been nothing but nice. It’s just the reality of it, not everyone will like you.
This is exactly it. Not everyone will like you, just keep being kind/pleasant to be around or try to connect better with other analysts.
