What were your life goals when you began working? How did they workout with your career choice?
ah, still too early to tell. life goals are to be financially independent, make my own schedule, stay stimulated intellectually, and be able to spend time with the people I care about. so far so good, but PWM is more a J curve kind of career so I won't really know until I'm in my 40s if I can say I "made it."
I was hoping that I would be in a position to teach the younger generation valuable lessons when I retired. So, in that regards it has worked out well. Unfortunately, like every time someone rubs the genie bottle for a wish, the wish is often fulfilled in unexpected and painful ways. So, be careful what you wish for.
