What’s on your Christmas list?

What are you asking for for Christmas this year from your family, SO, etc? Alternatively, are you giving a cool/notable gift to someone? I’m looking for some ideas as my list is currently limited to a couple books and shirts.

probably clothing, but one thing I want to do is fix up my bike and maybe get it tuned up, etc. I'm not that big into it but want to get more into it, especially next year once it gets warm again, so maybe some bike parts (brakes, new wheel treads, etc.).

I sold my old shitty mountain bike and got an old Trek road bike on fb marketplace. It's got a good frame, but idk much about bikes and want to fix it all up and talk with people more knowledgeable than me. There's some good local bikeshops my friends in the area recommended that I'll check  out.

It looks nice, but quartz and 32mm?  At that price? IDK, I like smaller watches but that's so small that places call it a women's watch.

Personally, I'm considering a Black Bay 58 or Seamaster Aqua Terra, but I may just wait until bonus season for them.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

I get what you mean however I prefer smaller, out of the picture type watches. So the Santos de Cartier was also something I was looking at. I typically don't look at watches below 6k just because they are a lot harder to sell on the secondary market, however that Black Bay was quite nice. In the price range you're dealing with I'd suggest a BREITLING Superocean Heritage B20 Automatic 42 or a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 by the way.

Some skis and ski boots. Bought the Ikon Pass and would rather spend money on good skis and boots than continue to rent. They will last me at least 5-10 years too. Highly recommend other skiers here do this.

I bought the blue Lange RX 120 ski boots and then bought the Volkl blaze skis personally. Was looking at Salomon as well but the Lange boots felt more comfortable on my feet. Didn't wanna break the bank and i got a good deal at my local ski shop, paying $800 for both and poles.

I ordered myself the large leather portfolio from Saddleback Leather Company. Hasn’t come in yet but very excited. I did a lot of research into other portfolios / padfolios, this one was the winner. Anybody in the market for a new professional portfolio I definitely recommend checking out Saddleback and Satchel Page. Those were the two companies that it came down to for me

Oura ring for brother (also bought one for myself)

Large family pictures for parents / nice custom beach chairs

New airpods / prada clutch for GF
