I like my Patagonia Vests like I like my coffee... black.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Detachable nipple holes is a good idea, I can get behind that.

For Patagonia-specific, the MDSV is the best one to go with. I think the puffer reigns superior over the Better Sweater line any day of the week. The Wax Red one is my favorite, usually adds some color to an otherwise boring pallet that I wear - white, black, gray, tan, and whatnot.

To be honest, Patagonia is overrated IMO. You can get them everywhere at this point, it used to just be Pata stores & REI. Nowadays, I can walk into any department store and they're somewhere. I swear I saw one in JCPenney last year. It's not necessarily a bad thing to have brands go global, but the price hasn't accurately reflected it - the vest I suggested above is still $180.

If you're open to it, check this out instead. Far superior brand, IMO.

Nanopuffs are pricey, but good quality. I don't personally own one but have some friends who do and they've only kept one for YEARS.

Also, highly recommend 6PM for shopping for 'luxury' brands - e.g., Pata, Rhone, Lulu, Vuori, etc. It's a lot of the overstock stuff and you can find insane discounts on things. I opened the tab and found these pants that I love for half off, literally three seconds. It's a hidden gem.
