The amount of racist posts and content on this forum has been going up because bottombuckethardo never stops creating new accounts and it makes WSO toxic to read. @WallStreetOasis" @AndyLouis" I hope you realize a good portion of your members are minorities and it’s disheartening to see such an individual trash other ethnicities on the daily while WSO does nothing about it.
You can't say they do nothing. They ban him but then he keeps making alts. I have heard of other websites using IP bans in extreme cases, but am unsure if WSO has that capability.

If you see it, flag it. Community moderation is very much alive and well on WSO. And WSO spells it out in their ToS and CG they can and will yoink access to bad actors for "any reason, or no reason at all" if it got to that point.
Have you tried not reading post with titles that include WASP? It'd be a good start to avoiding his post and saving your feelings!
Can they not ban an IP address? Totally agree - longtime user here and the OT forum is just ridiculous lately. Random banter is to be expected but the mods can't keep on top of the sheer number of racist or just completely offensive shit that gets put on here. Bad look if a new user stumbles across.
Even IP bans aren't all that reliable. I've heard the system (server blocks) itself is difficult and costly to maintain.
I'd just go with report and ignore. The only way to counter the racist garbage is by focusing on the good content. We need to understand that racists are here because of the mass crackdown from mainstream social media websites. They have nowhere to go. Just don't make them feel significant.
They should make phone number verification with a physical, (not virtual) phone number required. That would put a stop to this nonsense.

Actually, I'm pretty sure a tiny proportion of WSO are made up of minorities, since most of them are not intelligent nor hardworking enough to work in high finance (with the exception of South and East Asians). There may be a large number of delusional Africxn/Latinx prospects on here jerking off to the idea of becoming an "investment banker on Wall Street", despite the fact that the WASPy powers that be in the ivory towers of PE or C-Suite would be horrified at such a thought.
