Whats your idea of a really romantic night?

Been dating for 11 months.

Haven't seen each other in 2 but I've had difficulty expressing how much I like her and how much I've enjoyed our time together.

My idea is to put together a ridiculously romantic evening to show her how I feel. I need the most romantic ideas ever.

Help a bro out. Thanks

Buy a bunch of shit that she likes. Figure out what kind of flowers she likes, what kind of candy she likes, what kind of wine she likes, what movies she likes and you guys can watch her favorite movie while you drink her favorite wine. Ideally you just know this kind of shit about her so you don't have to play 20 questions.

that is the materialistic consumerist american answer above. another option is to just tell her "I love you and care about you so much. I want to do something special for you next Friday. What could we do that would make you feel special?"

He specifically said not to play twenty questions.  Because it's much more romantic when your SO knows what you like vs having to ask what they like.

Drinks, Dinner, Dessert at 3 different nice fancy places with a chaeffeur taking you to each. Kinda pretentious and a waste of money but tell her to dress up and take photos of her for her ig. She'll feel special and get to brag to her friends. I used to do cute meaningful things like the guy above for a couple girls I dated and neither considered it an actual date night. Idk maybe it was just my bad luck

Take lessons from your grandpa. Pick her some flowers. Arrive at her door. Go to a diner place but before go for a walk and do something fun. After dinner don't go straight to bed but for some game time. Really exhaust her and make her feel alive and fun. It's not about being romantic. Romantic is a word for people who can't have common sense to define what love is and categorize it in there. It doesn't have to be super luxurious or something. Just need to be that sweet spot for her to remember, reminisce and recall.

Since you haven’t seen her in a while, I would cook a three-course meal for her. Girls in general love the little extra touch of personal effort. Everybody can make a reservation or dump money on gifts, but not a lot of guys would spend a day or two planning and prepping an elaborate meal for her. Besides that, since you haven’t seen each other in a long time you might want to be close to her, closer than is custom in public. Extra bonus points if you prepare the room with fresh flowers, good music, candles, etc.

The only tips I have left is related to the food. Make sure you set up a menu that can be prepped before hand. Something like: entree samon tartare, main roasted lamb, and desert meringue/tiramisu. Most can be prepped the a few hours (or even a day) before, so you will have more time with her. You can add a cheese platter between the main and desert and add some limocello with coffee for after the desert. Spotify has some pretty good playlists, like Soul Cuisine. In the end, when you got the foundation of the date (food, wine, flowers, present, and music) then you just have to enjoy each other’s company. Have fun mate!

Tbh the whole romance thing is really about showing your partner that you love/care about them but also that you really know them. You’re the best person to know the kind of thing your girl will enjoy (eg. a surprise ski weekend is a dream for some girls and a nightmare for others. Ditto a spa). Is there anything she’s been stressed about lately that you could help her with? Showing that you listen to her, and really understand who she is and what she needs is really meaningful (way more than just flashing cash which just shows a) you’re rich and b) insecure).

Saying all that, most girls really like getting surprise flower/present deliveries, going back to where you first met/had your first date could be cute, go to her favourite restaurant/one she’s wanted to go to in the past.
