When is the normal time to start looking for an apartment for current senior in college staring in early July

Was wondering how early people do this and what they do if they can’t make it to that city in person to look at places to stay

I’d start looking around around 8ish weeks before you’re planning to move. At least in my city, I reached out to an apartment locator a few months before I moved and was told that apartment availability/accurate pricing wouldn’t be available til about 6 weeks from move in date. With people always moving in/out, its not like college housing where they try to lock you in 10 months early… also apartment locators are clutch for finding good deals based on what you’re looking for. Doesn’t cost anything to you (apartment complex pays them).. hope this helps!
