I find it very concerning (and almost comical) that people in the West are more disturbed by microaggressions than they are of a massive Orwellian authoritarian empire trying to take over and bully the rest of the world.
I choose not to include the name of said authoritarian regime in the title or description because the last discussion posted about it was swiftly censored and removed.
I don't believe in microaggressions or any of that nonsense but you realize it is possible to deal with China and our own racial issues? It's not like you have to pick between the two.
Also, thank god I found this thread before the hyper-nationalist kids who get triggered over Taiwan or Winnie the Pooh, or the alt righters who jerk off to Muslims in camps.
You're 100% correct. What I was trying to say is that a potentially existential threat should be more of an issue than the words we use to refer to 1% of the population by.
Also, nowhere in my post did I say or insinuate that these issues were mutually exclusive.
