Where can I read about small businesses ($1-$10 million EBITDA) that were acquired?
We always hear about the big multi-billion dollar acquisitions, but I'm looking to read about startup stories about smaller businesses. Think the kind of businesses a search funder would acquire and run a few years before selling. For context, my goal is to start one of these down the line and I want to read about entrepreneurs who started and scaled one on their own or acquired one.
I'm open to podcasts, newsletters, YouTube channels, etc. I'm already familiar with some like resources like Acquiring Minds and UpFlip. Any suggestions?

Several M7 business schools have case studies of search fund entrepreneurs that you may find helpful. I recently went through some Yale case studies that I found interesting; they covered the searchers backgrounds, structuring of their transactions, financials of the companies, and various challenges they faced.
This is all great for acquisitions. Does anyone have sources of people who founded $1-$10 million EBITDA businesses?
