Which was the Computer Game you played the most during your 90s, 2000s, and 2010s?
After reading throughout the forum, I found out that a lot of you used to be old school gamers, I am just curious what did you guys used to play or currently play? In my case, I spent a lot of time in the original RuneScape and Age of Empires 2. It’s more than obvious that currently play Age of Empires 2 definitely edition, when I want to relax (ain’t the same)
how do you turn this on?
😂😂😂😂
Age of Empires 2 when I was in elementary school and Destiny when I was in middle school and high school.
+1 for Doom
Although when I was younger I cheated and used IDDQD and IDKFA and didn't play the game as it was intended until much later
my cousin had this on his PC, I didn't know what it was called at the time, I just knew it was one of the greatest games ever made
I've legitimately spent at least 1500 hours (probably closer to 1750-2000) in this game. Required so much skill vs many other first person shooters.
Some of the players I've met on CS 1.6 had super human reflexes / aim. I remember playing so much at one point where making 'top 15' player lists on servers wasn't difficult for me.
Age of Empires 2 and 3
Rome total war
by the way I learned that age of empires 2 and 4 are both on Xbox one, just got the latter and it’s actually a ton of fun
That moment in Rome Total War, when the Marian Reforms took place and all your major cities became factories to create legendaries. The result: Map in one colour.
such a great game. Really liked Medieval 2 also
I’m a Scythian Horse Archer spam and cheesing city sieges kind of guy. In a top level city, a stack of horse archers can cream 4 or more stacks by repeatedly sallying. It’s even better if you can bring in a kamikaze unit outside the city so you can get two battles out of it per turn.
Sim City
starcraft
CS and WoW
Minecraft by a huge margin
Greatest game
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault on PC.
Still play OSRS, CS, WoW, dabble in Destiny and Hell Divers 2 (10/10 recommend joining the hype)
Age of Empires II is a go tooooooooo!!!!!!
Also played a lot of Command and Conquer Red Alert 2, OhhhhTanya.
No better way to relax after a long day (bah, there are better ways, but AoE2 will always be there for you).
Diablo II and CS 1.6.
Diablo, Starcraft, Sim CIty, Leisure Suit Larry, Doom
Runescape.
With Membership or the Freemium?
I paid for membership once I got my first job. I probably first started playing in '03/'04 and membership around 2010. What a game. Wbu?
Way too many to list through the eras. Pumped to play FF7Rebirth though. Looks awesome.
civ
football manager
cod MW2
age of empires I/II
Diablo and CS
Sim City, Warcraft, Panzer General, Civilization II, Age of Empires
RuneScape, Red Alert, Counter Strike, Half Life
Once I got membership for RuneScape, I probably spent enough time equivalent to a Master's thesis degree on that shit - worth every hour
Do you know the money you lost by not investing those $10 per month on a well diversified index fund???
So many games... if I had to pick my 5 most played/favourite:
1. Runescape (so many hours... mining...)
2. Age of Mythology (like age of empires but with ancient mythological civilisations instead of real-world civilisations)
3. Pro Evo (PES 3, 4, 5 & 6.. unbelievable games)
4. Mario Kart
5. Pokemon
Used to play a lot of DOOM and Halo at my cousins houses
Very npc activities but I used to love simulator games as a kid. Euro Truck simulator and 18 wheels of steel, ms flight simulator, bus simulator, crazy taxi, sim city (and variants of the same concept), zoo/roller coaster tycoon, and games like that. Also played a shit ton of runescape.

Sadly they never added the Investment Banker Job package, which allow you to see your character´s house without your character but enough money to buy everything.
