Will the Golden State Warriors actually repeat as champions?
The Golden State Warriors have been so dominant these past two years that they are recreating something that was done 20 years ago. Many speculate who would've been a better team: the 2015-16 Warriors or 1995-96 Chicago Bulls? In retrospect, all of the debate isn't meaningful. We are witnessing something that has been done so sparingly, that we should just sit back and enjoy the ride.

The Golden State Warriors shattered the record for best start in NBA history (24-0) en route to a 65-7 mark, all while blitzing their opponents by more than 11 points per game. Are Stephen Curry & Co. a threat to match -- or even break -- the 72-10 record set by Michael Jordan and the legendary 1995-96 Chicago Bulls?.
I think the main issue of concern is whether or not the Warriors will repeat as champions. They have been destroying the competition in the regular season and are full on committing to the attempt to set a new record. That means no rest for Golden State's star players, which could prove to be a harmful decision if they run out of gas too early.
Do you think the Warriors should opt to rest their players? Even if they do get the record, would it be meaningful if they fall short during the playoffs?
I have them as favorites to win. The only team with a conceivable chance of stopping them is the Spurs, and I would take them over the Spurs. I don't think rest will be a big issue, especially when they'll have an easy first round series.
