WORLD CUP OF QUANT FIRMS

It's that time of year again - the World Cup is in full swing, and the world's brightest countries are battling it out on the pitch. I've been having a great time catching up on all the action, and I've even made some new friends across the different hedge funds here in New York.

We've started our own little World Cup league, with each hedge fund representing a different country. So far, a few matches have been played in the group stages, and the results have been pretty exciting. Janestreet absolutely demolished HRT, and SIG absolutely destroyed the Citadel QR department. It's been a lot of fun watching the matches and cheering on our friends and equity options desks (Nothing quite matches the atmosphere of a group of 23-year-old Chinese PhD students and their rallying call for Ivan, the VIX specialist with a decade of experience)

As the tournament progresses, I'm curious to hear others' predictions for the Five Rings. Who do you think will come out on top? Share your thoughts below and let's see who the real World Cup experts are!
