Would identifying as part of the lgbtqia community increase success with recruiting

To start I’m not actually gay, I identify as a semi bisexual, meaning I do not want to have intercourse with men. I do however, find twinks and femboys I see scrolling through ig attractive even tho I do not want to have sex with them which is why I am not gay. I have not ever had sexual contact of any kind with men ever. For context I am a completely straight looking male that is 20 and I don’t do any gay stuff.

I just want to maximize my odds.

Ciao TomatoOrange,

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's important to remember that honesty and integrity are key in any professional setting, including the finance industry. Misrepresenting your identity to gain an advantage could potentially harm your reputation and relationships in the long run.

While it's true that many firms have diversity initiatives and are striving to create more inclusive environments, these efforts are intended to support individuals who genuinely identify with those groups. It's not about who earns more or less, but about creating equal opportunities for everyone.

If you're looking to maximize your odds, I'd suggest focusing on enhancing your skills, networking effectively, and preparing thoroughly for interviews. The WSO Courses and WSO Academy offer a wealth of resources to help you in these areas.

Remember, being true to yourself and respecting others' identities is the best way to build meaningful professional relationships.

Keep swinging from those branches!

No. I mean yea it MIGHT, but i think most of the people who keep whining abt lying abt being gay are the skill issue people who use it as a crutch to kool-aid themselves into thinking that the reason they don't break in is cuz they're straight males. Just get smarter or find a different career since this career obviously keeps closing doors to your face.

(I get that this is a bait post, but just my actual thoughts on this matter)

will they watch you take it up the ass?
