Writing about WSO in college essay

I'm thinking of ditching one of my essays completely and writing about the WSO instead. The question broadly asks "to which community do you belong, and describe that community and your place within it."

I could talk about being a monkey, why we are all here, interests, the resources we have, and culture? Maybe, Idk. I just think it would be more interesting than talking about race or ethnicity.

Mention me by name if you do. It carries a lot of clout.

I was about to suggest OP to do an exclusive interview with you.

Then there you are, giving the first comment. Amazing.

Fortes fortuna adiuvat.

I suspect they are looking for an example of a community where you make a valuable contribution. Contributing to the communal benefit, if you will.

Writing about a website where you've been a registered user for just 2 months, which has a user base of mainly of mainly late stage college kids and banking professionals, where your contribution to the community has been pretty limited (based on your banana count of 51, 0 SB vs 10 MS, at the time that I write this post and your lack of first hand knowledge of the banking industry other than using an ATM)... well, it may not be the best example.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.
