WSO Promotional Video

Hey guys, so below is a promotional video for WSO I threw together using Animoto....they don't give too much flexibility regarding editing, but would love to hear your opinions before I put this up in our "About Us" section.

Thanks,
Patrick

Looks awesome, overall theme solid. (For what it's worth) Couple things:

1) The pictures look pretty "photo-shopy"

2) It might be a tad bit on the long side

3) Idk how to do this without coming of like an infomercial, but WSO has legitimately helped (including myself) a lot of people get smart and break into WS holistically and sans any gimmicks.

Pretty good Patrick. I like the blue/black paint theme. I understand you're limited by the tool, but I think the more you can get non-stock faces or videos of people in there, the more compelling it is (people respond to faces). I liked the screen cap from the mock interview.

You also made my pet peeve mistake of using "IBD" rather than "IB" as the abbreviation for "investment banking" :)

Looks great - agree it's a bit long, you can probably cut it down by having it hang for less time on each heading.

Also, this is very minor and nitpicky, but none of the subheadings have punctuation at the end other than the question mark one(s), which is fine, but then this one has a period at the end which is inconsistent:

Financial Modeling GMAT prep...and more.

Looks great though nice work!

Not to beat a dead horse but it does seem a bit long. Truthfully, you could probably just chop it up and make 2 separate videos. The first one could be 0:01 thru 0:29 plus 0:42 thru 0:45 plus 0:37 thru 0:41 then end it with 0:30 thru 0:36 and 1:32 thru 1:39. Just a suggestion.

I would also like to point out the awesomeness of the bull picture you use at 0:16. I found that picture a few years ago and its been my desktop background since...probably the coolest picture of the WS bull I have ever seen.

Anyways, overall it looks really good. Have fun packing.

Regards

I like it a lot. If I was a young little wanna-be banker spoof I would be blowing my load over all those trigger-phrases you list.... In fact, I just jizzed all over myself. Brb
