Credit and Operational Risk Summer Analyst Interviews
Hi, I just got selected for two first round interviews: credit risk and operational risk summer analyst positions. However, I really want to break into banking, but I'm not really getting interviews for IB right now because of my GPA so I am considering MO. I don't really know much about it and wanted to know what I should expect in the interview. Should I know probability and risk metrics? Anything that I need to know would help. Thanks!
Can you give more info? Between those two, try REALLY hard to land in credit risk.

What Roles you might Play
Credit Risk Analyst
Assist Credit Officers in analysing the credit quality of fund counterparties (hedge funds, private equity, mutual funds), financial institutions (banks, broker dealers, mortgage originators, insurance companies and REITs) and corporations. Conduct industry and deal research to assist credit teams reach conclusions on transaction requests. Help develop ad-hoc reports based on business needs.

Also how many percentage of final round will get offers?

update: got a phone call from HR the day after interview saying that i "was not declined but could not be extended an offer at this moment". he said I would get an update in 2 weeks. What does this mean? I suppose it is a sign of waitlist?
i dont know which bb this is, but I have a risk SA final for deutsche and mine are 2 30 mins....
you should prob mention which BB this is if you want more responses....I'd say risk generally isnt the most competitive area, so shouldn't be too hard.....btw when is the superday?
It's barcap. I don't think it's really a superday. I could choose from 2 interview sessions, so i guess others will be at different time.
Last year, 50 - 60 % got final offers. Expect mostly behavioral and some basic technical.
just curious what is considered technical for a risk position.....some hardcore math stuff?
