What to state as my expected salary
I’ve recently moved to Canada and I’ve got an interview for a “Corporate Credit Management Associate” lined up with BNP Paribas.
Since I’m new in Canada I don’t have an idea of what the industry standard here is. So I don’t know what should I answer if I’m asked about my salary expectation.
I could use some input as I don’t wona price my self out of the running, nor lowball my self.
I should mention that I have a little over 4 years experience (and held a higher position back home) which is more than the two years they require as a minimum experience for the role.
Depends
on?
Maybe tell us what you're on/ hoping for, then this monkey community can respond if in the right ballpark with comps etc. Give first before you take, lad
If only the internet contained web sites that listed salary histories of companies around the world . . .
I already checked those, the range was too wide to be meaning-full (between 70K and 120K) and it didn't specify what type of credit analyst is each range for (retail, business banking, real estate finance, commercial, corporate)
