Which career could you undertake starting as an ESG Research Analyst ?

My question relates exploring a field, the one highlighted in the title of the discussion, that is quite new to me and for which I see several openings on the various job portals I'm browsing. Thus, I'd like to ask you guys what are the kind of career prospective you may face starting as an ESG Research Analyst for people who have studied finance (MSc).
