2hr model test for Power / Renewables / Infra Fund. What to expect?

Have a 2hr, 3-statement LBO model test coming up for a power / Infra / renewables fund followed by a 30 min debrief. Most of my experience has been energy so wanted to know what to expect and how I can best prep myself? It is supposed to be a “production plant” that I’ll be modeling out. What return should I try to aim for? Core+ so around 15-17%?

1. I would assume if it’s a project only related case then you would have to know how to debt size based on a DSCR.

2. If it’s for a utilities focused job then you would have to know how to model a rate base over time, which means you’d have to understand capital contributions to the rate base over time.

I would likely suspect it’s a project based case (ie 1 above), then you would need to know debt sizing based on a DSCR. You can find guides on how to do that online but I would definitely recommend knowing how to do that before any infra model test.
