Africa

Greetings All, I was born and raised in an African country but I have been in the U.S since I was 16. One of my cousins is now stationed here in NYC as a diplomat representing my country at the U.N. Although her background is in law, she is now in charge of the investment division and is tasked with sourcing financing for a number of mega projects to be built by the government back home. Given that I am a finance graduate and just completing an internship, I volunteered to help her find interested parties just to add something to my resume. Are Private Equities these days interested in such investments? What is the best way to approach? Also what is the possibility of taking advantage of this financially in a sort of consulting fee or commission? I know I have a strange question but inputs are greatly appreciated.
