AI for Finance

Curious the takes on Hebbia/Rogo as actually useful institutional products.

I've never used either but have heard feedback on both. Won't bias the audience :)

What are they good at, what's lacking, and what would them good enough for people to actually use?

Note: I do NOT work at either....genuinely just curious given how much AI curiosity there has been in my group.

sounds like you dont know what these tools are meant for...lmao

if you think AI for finance is not relevant for bankers, investors, analysts, etc, good luck mate.

Rogo is honestly terrible. Its only real edge is access to capital markets intelligence, but otherwise it just feels like a much worse version of ChatGPT. At this point, you’re probably better off giving ChatGPT a bland finance prompt (literally saying “I work in IB”) than using Rogo directly.

My bank doesn’t currently have Claude, but I’d assume that once you combine Claude MCP with a capital markets data platform, Rogo basically loses the one differentiated advantage it has.
