Any insights on Brookfield PE?

Brookfield seems to run a pretty sizeable PE program latest fund is $10+bn but I feel I barely hear about it because its infra business just outshines.

Any insights how good it is? Seems like they do more industrial businesses. Is it a good place to go in now as they are insulated from SaaS valuation risk?

Had a friend join as an ASSO, believe they pay like $310k for ASO1 (maybe because of CAD conversion) but TC is more heavily weighted towards base compared to other firms.

They mostly do industrials deals and likely services but are broadening into HC and tech... not sure why

Not a strict 2-and-out program, think they want a couple associates per year (of like ~4 per class?) to stay on to SA/VP so pretty good odds

Unsure about performance

Seems like a great spot if you want to be in industrials
