Any under the radar PE funds that would fit my interests?

Not concerned about prestige, what I would like out of my role:

  1. Promotes Associates to Sr. Associates from within with no MBA requirements
  2. Located in a geography I’m interested in long term
    1. Boston
    2. New York City
    3. Miami
    4. San Diego / LA
    5. Washington DC
  3. It covers an industry that I am passionate
    1. Media
    2. Technology
    3. Healthcare / Consumer
  4. Provides exposure to the entire capital structure with an emphasis on control investments

This describes at least 50% of PE funds. You either should just go through oncycle/off cycle and see what you get, or narrow your range a lot more if you want specific recommendations

1. Most PE shops do this now. MBA requirements get rarer every year
2. This is like 90% of the PE universe
3. These are probably top 3 most active PE sectors, therefore most PE companies by far
4. Majority of buyout PE companies do this
