Anyone regret leaving PE & why?

Starting forum to help folks who might think grass is greener...Ill start

  1. WLF isnt always better in other roles such as corp dev / finance at startups
  2. If you leave too early on it might be hard (not impossible but hard) to get back if you decide you miss LT investing
  3. Career prospects with PE are unparalleled and so are the economics (yes money doesnt make you happy but living paycheck to paycheck or being worried about job security doesnt either. i.e. startups rn getting flamed)
