Apollo Infrastructure?
Hi ! Does anyone have any insights on Apollo's infrastructure team? Culture, team, hours are similar to the rest of the firm (e.g. buyout)?

They have deployed 3 funds in the last 4/5 years and are back in the market for a new one. AFAIK the last was $4bn, before that $2bn, and prior to that ~$1bn.
Pay at junior level appears to be the same as other groups (~$400k)
Mid Market at the moment.
Does employ the creative structuring standard at Apollo.
Don’t think they are hiring at the moment as has a spree last year but not sure.
Agreed, takes a very different view on structuring vs your more vanilla Infra PE players. Ethos of downside protection / value oriented / heavily structured rings true throughout org and Infra is no exception. For example if there is a very competitive process they would prefer to do a pref for the winning bidder and get involved that way vs take the common equity themselves. Will take a look at hairier situations as a result (and overall one of the more flexible mandates in the infra world)
