Asking for comp before interviewing
I am getting inbound from HHs for a variety of things. Is it OK or bad form to ask for comp before taking any interviews? I don’t want to waste anyone’s time if the comp doesn’t make sense.

If they’re a 3rd party recruiter, not at all. They are on ur side as they make more if the cash comp negotiated is higher. I always start with that to not waste anyone’s time, also good to have market knowledge even if u aren’t interested in the role
