Brainrotted our PE team

I’ve poisoned our office by introducing them to brainrot and now they won’t stop using it.

For context: I’m by far the youngest guy on the team and the entire office for that matter, so I’m obviously familiar with my generation’s lingo.

During a team dinner, a couple weeks ago, a partner pointed out that I and another member on the team are the only ones not married or in a committed relationship. He sort of vicariously asked what it’s like to be young and single.

He made a comment “man, I can’t imagine how much fun it must be at your age” and I mindlessly say to the 30 years my senior partner, “it sure is great, no shortage of huzz out there”.

Everyone looked puzzled and I realised what I’d said. They asked and I explained the term, eventually leading down the conversation route of me having to explain gen z brainrot terms and culture such as ”rizz”, “bruzz”, “mustard”, “fine shyt”, “mogging”, “aura farming”, etc.

They found it amusing and ever since I’ve had several instances of our team members using brainrot in the office.

The worst offence was a senior VP saying a fundraising deck I was making “needs to look rizzly”

Beyond that, I keep getting asked if I’m interested in having mustard anytime I eat, yesterday was asked if I can expect to see huzz this weekend and other silly remarks.

I’m kind of lost on what to do, advice?
