Buy-side vs Sell-side for Secondaries?

Which spot seems more appealing and has better opportunities/growth trajectory/path to top comp? Top-end sell-side secondaries seats (EVR/PJT/LAZ PCA) or buyside seats (BX SP/Ardian/Lex)? I know the sell-side/buy-side dynamic in this industry doesn’t work quite like typical banking/PE relationship, since we see people go from buyside to sellside as a relatively normal move. Also am aware it is quite firm-dependent on specifics but looking more at the big picture of these two sides.

Do you know why there seems to be pretty often movement from buy-side to sell-side? Especially to top PCA teams. Genuinely curious why this happens whereas similar moves more or less happen extremely rarely for other team/products/verticals.
