Can someone walk me through exactly what happens after a first call with a recruiter??

Call with a headhunter today seemingly went well. She pitched me on an associate role and asked to have a follow-up in a few days. What happens now? What should I expect and how can I best prepare for the follow-up and what comes after?

I'm pretty new to this so if someone could lay out a tactical timeline for an interaction with an individual headhunter that would be awesome.

Thanks y'all.
