Career Trajectory Help

I’m an MF Private Credit Associate. I work 55-60 hours consistently per week. All in comp will be ~300k 150 base 150 bonus. I clearly get paid very well for the amount that I work and stress that comes with the job relative to other roles.

However, I don’t want to get pigeon holed in this space and want diverse investing experience over the course of my career. I am considering staying here until making VP (hopefully in 2-3 years by age 27), then leaving to pursue PE or HF. Maybe get MBA as bridge if that’s not realistic.

Is working in PE or at a HF and still having good WLB and having time to go out/work out a thing? I want to go to work every day 1) excited about what I’m doing/feeling fulfilled and 2) getting challenged/learning a lot. What type of investing/place best suits my goals and do you all find interesting and why? Credit is good for right now but long term thing it’s too monotonous and not quite right for me.
