Case Study: How to evaluate PE fund

Hi monkeys, I could really use your help.

I have an interview coming up with a top tier placement agent. And one of the interview questions (which will be a case study) is to evaluate a PE fund, and be able to discuss pros and cons of the fund. And ultimately decide if we should invest or not.

what are the things I should look at? They will provide a deck with the GPs history, funds returns and a few details of the fund

But what is like a checklist I should go through ?

I understand fund metrics aré important, so look at IRR, TVPI, DPI etc… team and track record? What exactly can I say… other things to highlight ?

And what are some of the cons I could point out?

Any help is much appreciated
