CF -> PE from NonTarget

For the past couple of months I've been working at a boutique shop with $400M AUM. I graduated from a non-target state school and had excellent internship experience in CF. I got a little too comfortable and found myself wanting out. Took a risk, applied to 100 places, five interviews later I received an offer. Currently working on Asset Sourcing, Due Diligence and portfolio management/Exits.

I am only writing this post because I did not know what private equity was until my senior year, thanks for opening my eyes. Feel free to pm me/ask questions. I will answer them to the best of my availability.

To be brutally honest, I just got lucky. That, and I've been told by strippers I am cute.
