From what I have heard: great track record in Europe (+ expanding in the US) and very good performance of their last fund (fund V). They are currently investing their 6th fund (€7bn) with meaningful investments (STADA, Allegro + large bolt on acquisitions for Hotelbeds and Eurovita) and exits (CeramTec, CPA Global). Relaxed and very multicultural work environment.

I echo Axiol.

I've only heard great things. Their last fund had some high quality investments and have proven that with great exits. They're one of the most consistent large-cap PE funds out there, especially when compared to its Europe-centric peers that have had ups and downs (BC Partners, Permira). Love what they are doing in Europe and am interested in seeing how their push into the US works out. They've made some junior-to-mid hires in the last year or so in the US. In terms of culture, it really depends on office to office and team to team, expectedly so.
