Coffee chats within the firm

Hello guys,

I’ve been struggling to have more insightful conversations during coffee chats with colleagues from other teams. Most of the conversations feel a bit superficial and while they’re nice, it’s clear people are just ticking a box so it becomes boring. We’re encouraged to meet people from different teams, but I’d love to make these chats more engaging. What kinds of questions would you suggest to make the conversations more meaningful or would you approach this?
