Have worked with them on the other side of deals… their juniors get absolutely worked. Joining calls from vacation, late night emails… honestly seemed like they were working more than us on the sell-side. I think the structure is lean and they take a look at everything so juniors get crushed. Would also imagine it’s relatively hard to rise the ranks there given how old the firm is (lots of seniors vs. joining a newer fund). I remember a while back there was some frictions with Jeremy Coller not sharing any economics but I believe that has since changed… granted there’s probably some leakage to Hunter Point now as well.
