Coming back home with an Ivy League degree
If I came back from a top uni like Harvard/Wharton, could I come back to Australia and get a buyside role out of undergrad easier?

How are these places perceived in Australia?
Yes
No - all my mates from overseas went into banking in Aus (aus born, us undergrad). I could count with one hand the number of buyside roles which recruits from uni students in Aus. The only large fund which hires out of undergrad is BX REPE
If you want to go buyside straight away would recommend sticking to US or Europe
