Consulting to PE in Southeast Asia?

Hi guys, I'm a strategy consultant in SEA looking to explore a move to PE. From previous work experience I'm familiar with financial modelling and have worked on a few PE-related projects. Has anyone made the switch from consulting to PE before in SEA and can share advice? Any info around the best recruiters or PE firms most open to hiring consultants?
