Cornell Capital Title Inflation?
Heard recently that Henry Cornell was keen on raising his next flagship fund ASAP so decided to promote everyone's title across the board this year (all VPs became Principals, all Principals became MDs, etc.). Is this true??
Never heard of the firm
Same, don’t know who Henry Cornell is
that's some times how it happens regardless of firm or person. if join an existing fund, couple years later, raise a new one, then get a 'promo' and on it goes if things continue to grow
Last fund is only 23% called according to PB. Not going to be able to go to market with that much dry powder in this market
Neither PB nor Preqin are good gauges of deployed % across any private funds. It's usually self-reported by the GP or via a public pension that has to disclose this through FOIA, typically lagging by 2 quarters. So...sure, they may have been 23% called as of 6/30 or 9/30 last year but that's pretty meaningless right?
