Cornell Capital Title Inflation?

Heard recently that Henry Cornell was keen on raising his next flagship fund ASAP so decided to promote everyone's title across the board this year (all VPs became Principals, all Principals became MDs, etc.). Is this true??

Neither PB nor Preqin are good gauges of deployed % across any private funds. It's usually self-reported by the GP or via a public pension that has to disclose this through FOIA, typically lagging by 2 quarters. So...sure, they may have been 23% called as of 6/30 or 9/30 last year but that's pretty meaningless right?
