Deals - What to look for
All,
I am new to the PE space and am an analyst while working through my MBA program. As I work in a small PE firm, our team here is extremely busy and I would prefer to not to have to be asking questions ALL of the time.
When we receive potential deals, typically it's some type of PowerPoint/PDF about the company and their current structure and why it's attractive but we also will typically recieve some type of excel workbook with financials. What are the key findings that make a deal attractive? What are the fundamentals behind finding these findings attractive?
Thanks, JG
