Is there a difference in comp (amount and structure) between traditional PE groups and Growth PE groups in the same firm? Say TPG Capital vrs TPG Growth? And if there is, how wide is it and it which form?

depends on the firm. at the MF level, no difference. a lot of growth shops are smaller though fund size / aum-wise (comparable i think to the lmm level), which is a bigger determinant of pay in my experience.
