Differences between BB PE funds and independent ones
What's the different between MS Private Equity vs. a fund like Audax? Is there any sort of negative effect from working at a fund under a BB umbrella?

Yeah
Depends on the fund. I believe GS PE typically coinvests alongside megafunds while MS usually does MM LBOs on its own. The work itself and interview process will be very similar to regular PE and comp should be a little lower (maybe $225-$250k all in)
