Believe they recruit on a rolling basis for a relatively large associate class. Not sure exactly how many spots but would imagine it be similar to most large infra MF associate class sizes.

Have a friend who went through the DigitalBridge process and apparently their 3.5hr modeling test is a huge bottleneck, with a 80%+ fail rate. This meant that if and once you pass the modeling test, the odds of getting an offer are skewed in your favor as far as you don't bomb the remaining interviews. They also evaluate your model test quite closely and it's not just a simple pass / fail rubric, meaning that you should aim to not just pass, but to do extra well on the model, since it will be take into consideration when the team is debating which candidate should receive an offer.

This is unlike non-infra PE recruiting, where the modeling test is only a "check in the box", but it makes sense given the highly technical nature of digital infra PE. They prioritize technical competency and modeling skills above almost all else.

Based on previous WSO threads, there are several users who are open to exchanging modeling tests and case studies. For instance:

  • PEjunkie mentioned they are beginning the recruiting process at several PE shops and are looking to exchange modeling tests/case studies to brush up on their skills.
  • innoutfan responded to PEjunkie, expressing willingness to exchange a modeling case, including the prompt and Excel model answer.

If you're looking for specific models like the Digital Bridge Model Test, you might want to reach out to these users or post a similar request in the relevant forum. You can find more details and potentially connect with others willing to exchange materials on the Wall Street Oasis forums.

I’ve taken it before (obviously can’t share), and it is extremely easy so long as you’ve had some practice. Other people that I know have said the same.

Far by the easiest modelling test I’ve had on the buyside. I was done with at least 2 hours to spare, and that was after making the model more granular than was expected of me.

If you need to, spring for one of the PE LBO modelling courses and you should be good to go.

No further comment on the process or on the company, but I’d encourage all of you to do a lot of due diligence on the team that you’re joining. If you get a chance to speak to any former members of the specific team that you’re joining, take it.

Unless there have been any changes since a few years ago, yes. It isn’t a project finance style model (and I don’t think everybody there can do one tbh, they don’t hire much from PF backgrounds), no debt sizing debt sculpting etc

Obviously the operating build could still be infra like, given that they’re likely going to test you on a digital infra asset.
