Distressed Debt Comp 2021
Have been hearing a lot about the amount of capital pouring into the alternative credit/private debt sector but am specifically interested in comp package as a distressed/opportunistic credit analyst at MFs such as PIMCO/Ares/Blackstone.
Pay ladder and hours at each level would be much appreciated!
Interested to hear some numbers from the distressed guys here. Have heard analysts ~$130K, associates $250K, and VPs at $450K. SVP and above probably varies between $500K-$2M due to carry.
what shop is this?
Interested
PIMCO's not a MF. They're an asset manager. Wouldn't make sense to include them in megafund comp (Ares/BX), unless you just wanna know how their comp compares to large AM comp.
I think OP was referring to the distressed/opportunistic credit arm of PIMCO which operates very much like a HF/MF structure. See: https://www.pimco.com/en-us/alternatives
Come on fellas
