Diversity in Private Equity

I know a lot of banks have programs / quotas for URM at the analyst level and I was wondering if this is still the case for but side recruiting (at the associate level)? . Does being a URM help those candidates? . Do the big side firms (PE) care about diversity quotas / programs? Why or why not? . Thanks
