Prefer to hire "the Underdogs", from Boutiques, less known banks, non-straight CVs - check their team! Comp on par with Mid-Market Funds

Have two acquaintances who enjoy the the culture / overall experience.
Believe their performance has been quite choppy (bunch of write-offs and bunch of >5x MoIs, with blended average returns.

had a friend who moved there from BB IBD and loves it. said work life balance is great (except for live execution here and there), does interesting and challenging work and people are nice and hardworking. good luck!
