Had a few friends in their Asso program, take this with a grain of salt but my sense in chatting with them was that they're harder to come by relative to 10 or even 5 yrs back
Yes, usually at least one person per class is promoted to senior aso. Have also been people who have stayed on for 3rd year aso.
AFAIK they don’t hire from MBA and prefer to promote associates through internally. This is still of course a difficult promo to get and not something that happens for the majority of associates
